Shattered by the imperfection of light
Fragmented pieces of the unknown
Are thrown aside by the rouge Dawn
Futilely ignoring the reverberation of robins;
Sealing lids, shutting out reality
Masquerading in your mind
You become unmasked and mirthlessly
Die
Lifting lashes, Cloudy eyes
Peering into this new world
